Latest Camera on the Market

Up until Phantom decided to create slow-motion picture feasible for commercial-use, this type of cinematography was only available for scientifically-focused industries. Generally, it is used by large-cap industries that had the means and the funds to afford these types of cameras. The main purpose of which is to capture fast-moving sequences as simple as the lighting of a match to complex as the ignition process of a NASA rocket engine.

Now, this technology is available at a relatively cheaper price. Although, the rental fee of the Phantom HD Gold can be easily $3,000 per day. The benefit of shooting with this camera is that it can be used in a 4K format at 2500 frames per second.

In most television commercials, slow-motion scenes are shot with the Phantom HD Gold at the forefront. I am excited for this technology as it breaks through into the film industry and look forward to the day I get the opportunity to test it out.
